The first night that Pink Floyd played at the Marquee Club in London in the year 1966 was Sunday January 30th. They rocked the stage with other bands including Donovan, AMM, & Pete Lemer Trio.
The band started performing every other Wednesday night which was later named the “Spontaneous Underground”. The band played through February and then twice again in March. In April the event seemed to drop off the Official Marquee Club Schedule until December where the band was scheduled 2 more times.
